About the event
Award-winning screenwriter and script editor Gemma Crofts (Surviving Summer) leads a 5-week workshop for film and TV screenwriters to hone your craft by getting expert notes on your scripts. Through a series of supportive, constructive feedback sessions Gemma will evaluate what is working and what isn’t and how you can improve your script.
Eligibility:
Open to writers of feature films or TV dramas. Acceptance is on a first come first served basis but you must submit a completed draft of your script before the start of the course. You must sign a confidentiality agreement before starting the course.
Format:
In each weekly 2-hour session, Gemma will focus on two scripts, giving each writer a dedicated hour of attention and pre-prepared feedback. Designed to be an intimate and nurturing space for 10 writers to share their work and build community, there will be plenty of opportunity for questions and to connect with Gemma and fellow attendees.
