About the event

Join award-winning stage and screen director Leticia Cáceres (Bump, The Spooky Files) for an intimate conversation about her career, including her journey from theatre directing into TV directing and how she landed her first gig.

You’ll walk away with practical advice on:

  1. Branding yourself as a director
  2. Advocating for yourself and your career
  3. Transferring skills from stage to screen
  4. Attachments and Shadowing
  5. Working with an agent
  6. Networking tips

As a television director, Leticia has directed on seasons one and two of Stan’s smash original series Bump, and most recently on upcoming series The Spooky Files. For her stage work, she has been lauded as "one of the most electrifying directors in this country" and has directed for most mainstage theatre companies in Australia.

She had a dream of directing content but like most of us, she started with no connections in the industry. By using a strategic approach she’s quickly built a successful career to become one of Australia’s hottest new directors.

Leticia is passionate about female centric stories, and stories about outsiders and belonging. She vehemently believes in the power of stories to make us more human. Read about Leticia here.

In conversation with Media Mentors’ own Denise Eriksen. Followed by a Q+A with plenty of time to get advice and connect with Leticia. Don’t miss this special opportunity to hear from a quickly rising talent in TV directing.

You’ll love her and you’ll leave inspired!
