Are you an HOD but would love to know about how to successfully manage a team?

Or would you like to step up as a Head of Department but you’re lacking in the management skills required?

We're running a country-wide management training programme – delivered and supported by people who understand production.

Media Mentors Australia – with the support of Screen Australia – is looking for up to

100 people across the country to attend small-scale workshops.

Workshops will be held in person and online.

The workshops are being developed in consultation with highly experienced UK HOD Trainer, Adelina Orfila.

They will cover management skills for teams in stressful situations, workplace dynamics, and culture, performance management, addressing bullying, harassment, and discrimination, and how to take care of yourself and your team.

After the formal training, each attendee will have access to three sessions of one-on-one mentoring/coaching with Media Mentors, plus a monthly group session to create a connected network of future leaders and managers.
